Preparing to move? Use these useful pointers to remain on track throughout your upcoming relocation. Prior to you understand it, you'll be putting out the welcome mat and making yourself at house.
Before the relocation:
Get organized. Start a "move file" to keep track of estimates, receipts and other details. You may be able to subtract your move and lower your taxes, so contact the Internal Revenue Service to see what costs can be deducted on your next income tax return.
Research your new neighborhood. The local Chamber of Commerce is an excellent location to find details about your new house.
Stay Healthy. Gather medical and dental records - including prescriptions and shot records. Ask your existing medical professionals if they can refer you to care suppliers in your new city.

Bind loose ends.
• Contact utility companies to detach, transfer or connect services. Strategy on keeping existing services through your move date and having brand-new ones readily available prior to your move-in date.

Reserve your moving truck. Do this at least a couple of weeks before your move. If you require a ramp or other loading equipment, make appointments with a local equipment-rental lawn.
